Gli Angeli Genève (conductor: Stephan Macleod), one of the ensembles I play the most with, always with great pleasure, started finding solutions for the impossibility of playing concerts due to corona restrictions as early as in May 2020. Since then, they never had to cancel a concert (as far as they were responsible of the organisation themselves), because they managed to organise a live stream for every single one of them.

Playing a recorded concert is not the same as playing an unrecorded one - knowing that the material will last and circulate on the internet forever always influences your way of playing. Of course, also the absence of an audience has a big impact. However, I’m very grateful to be a part of most of these live videos that came out in the last year.
