SOLO RECITAL “mit erfundener und geliehener Musik”
A solo programme consisting of "invented and borrowed music”, created for the concert series Kleine Konzerte Basel. The series was founded in May 2020 by a group of freelance musicians in Basel who wanted to organise small, private concerts independent of the Corona crisis which has been challenging our life and work so much.
The programme is meant to be played in a small space (preferably a living room) for just a few people. It switches between solo repertoire for violin from different time periods and improvisations directly inspired by or just fitting in between these pieces. The audience are invited to take part in the performance by giving them the opportunity to ask questions or express their wishes.
An adapted version of this programme was performed in 2021 in the series “Musikalische Wellness” (an initiative of La Cetra Barockorchester Basel).
